My name is Rick Rockefeller-Silvia, and ThriveBeyond40 is more than a blog; it’s a roadmap built from real-world experience.
I built this website and blog from the ground up, during a time of massive transition in my life; when I walked away from the world I knew and chose a life of freedom, adventure, and reinvention.
In my 20s, I was a professional equestrian, competing at the Grand Prix level with some of the top horses in the U.S. I later worked as a model and traveled extensively, but none of that prepared me for the hard reset I’d make in my 40s: leaving behind a comfortable, but constraining life to start over abroad.
Today, I live in Thailand, where I write, trade, and volunteer, which leads to a deeply fulfilling lifestyle. I’m not selling fantasy. I’m living proof that it’s possible to pivot midlife; financially, physically, and mentally, and come out the other side stronger and more sovereign than ever.
